What conditions do you treat at GABA Telepsychiatry?

We evaluate and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns for adults and adolescents. Our psychiatrists work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy coordination, and ongoing support.

How much does a telepsychiatry appointment cost?

We accept most major insurance plans, and our team can verify your coverage before your first visit. If you're uninsured or have questions about out-of-pocket costs, we're happy to discuss pricing options during your initial consultation.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We work to schedule new patients within 1-2 weeks depending on availability and urgency. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, we'll help connect you with appropriate emergency resources right away.

What happens during my first telepsychiatry visit?

Your initial appointment is a comprehensive evaluation where we discuss your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and treatment goals through a secure video call. We'll take time to understand your situation and explain our recommended approach before moving forward.

Do you serve patients outside of Amityville?

We currently serve patients throughout New York State via secure video consultations. Telepsychiatry allows us to reach people across the region while maintaining the same quality care you'd get in an office visit.

How do you coordinate care with my other doctors?

We actively communicate with your primary care physician and therapist to ensure everyone's on the same page about your treatment. This collaborative approach helps us provide more effective, integrated care tailored to your overall health.
